Five Year Legendary Retainer Plan

Gluck Orthodontics proudly offers our Five Year Legendary Retainer Plan-your long term solution for a lasting smile. Retainers are essential for protecting the results you worked hard to achieve, helping teeth stay in their ideal position long after braces or aligners are finished. Maintaining your ideal smile has never been more accessible or affordable, and this plan is designed to make replacement retainers simple whenever life happens.

For a one-time enrollment fee of $700, you are allotted up to 4 retainers a year at a nominal $50 co-pay per retainer, providing unparalleled peace of mind for years to come. Whether it’s wear and tear, Fido finding a new toy, or a misplaced retainer, we’ve got you covered. Eligible retainers include clear retainers only.   • Why are retainers so important after orthodontic treatment?

    Retainers help keep your teeth in their new positions and protect your orthodontic investment. Retainers are meant to retain, not move teeth. Maintaining your ideal smile has never been more accessible or affordable.

  • What are the different types of retainers?

    There are a multitude of types of retainers that serve varying purposes based on your specific case. Most commonly, and included in our Retainer Plan, is a clear, removable tray fitted to your teeth. The other most common is a permanent bonded retainer, that is glued to the back of your teeth to immobilize them. This type of retainer only holds the teeth it is glued to, so these can be worn in conjunction with a removable retainer. The other options include a Hawley Retainer or retainer with pontics. A Hawley is also removable, but instead has a metal bar across your upper teeth and an acrylic base fit to the roof of your mouth. Finally, a retainer with a pontic is one that has a fake tooth.

  • What retainers are included in the Legendary Retainer Plan?

    The clear, removable retainers are included in the plan. Eligible retainers include clear retainers only.

  • Are bonded (permanent) retainers included?

    No. Hawley retainers, bonded (permanent) retainers, or specialty retainers (including those with pontics) are not included.

  • How does the Legendary Retainer Plan work?

    For a one-time enrollment fee of $700, you are allotted up to 4 retainers a year at a nominal $50 co-pay per retainer. Up to 4 retainers per year are covered by this plan, with a $50 copay per retainer, due at the time of digital scan/order.

  • What does “one retainer” mean?

    One retainer = one arch (upper OR lower).

  • My retainer is cracked, lost, or eaten by my dog-what do I do?

    No worries at all! Give us a call at your earliest convenience to order a replacement. The less time you are without a retainer, the better to minimize shifting.

  • How long should I wear my retainer?

    For life! Realistically, after your first 6 months post treatment, it should be worn for 8-10 hours every day, such as at night while sleeping.

  • What if I need more than 4 retainers in a year?

    Usual and customary fees apply if more than 4 retainers are needed in a year.

  • When do I pay the copay, and what is it?

    The copay is $50 per retainer, due at the time of digital scan/order.

  • Does the program renew automatically?

    This program will automatically renew on treatment completion or sign-up date.

  • Is the membership transferable or refundable?

    Membership is personal, nontransferable, and non-refundable.

  • If my teeth have shifted, is that covered by the retainer plan?

    Retainers are meant to retain, not move teeth. Any appliances that are needed to move teeth that have shifted are not covered under this program and will have separate fees.

  • How do I enroll or sign up?

    Call or text Gluck Orthodontics to sign up for the Legendary Retainer Plan and get started. If you are in or have completed treatment, the fee is due in full at sign up.
