A New Smile Creates Happiness 2017

Your Orthodontist Can Help Your Happiness
A goal for 2017 is to fully embrace life. To be happier and live more fully, and you can turn to experts in the field of positive psychology to help accomplish this. Research shows that 40% of our happiness depends on our relationships and daily activities. Two areas in which we have a significant amount of control. So you can incorporate two practices this year to make the best of life every day.
Trying New Things
Your life is busy. It gets so that you’re doing the same things day after day. Wake up, go to work, come home, have dinner, watch television, go to bed and do it all again. This causes life to take on a mundane, one-dimensional quality. This year, you can consciously add variety to your routine, because learning new things is a proven way to promote well-being. When we visit a new place, play a new sport, or taste a new food, we open ourselves up to new ideas. Trying new things helps us to stay curious and engaged in our lives.
Practicing Acceptance
Somewhere along the line, you have developed the habit of focusing only on negative aspects of yourself. You are trying to shift this thinking. This year, you can chose three areas in which you would like to improve yourself that are healthy and within control. First of all, decide to see your orthodontist about getting Invisalign braces. your teeth have been crooked for far too long, and you know that healthy teeth are key for proper nutrition and overall health.
Going to the orthodontist for Invisalign braces will improve your lifestyle in healthy ways, and you can feel good about taking action rather than dwelling on flaws. You can also decide to start exercising at least three times a week for 30 minutes and eliminating sugar from your diet. Aside from these three conscious improvements, you can focus on your strengths and watch for negative self-talk that pops up in your head.
