Your smile is a calling card that you will use throughout life to welcome people, meet new friends, and open doors for jobs and opportunities. Something that important shouldn’t be left to chance. Visiting an orthodontist for a consult about how to get the optimal grin is a great start.
Start The Change
Firstly, people with overbites, misaligned teeth, crowding and other problems can be helped by braces and other treatments. However, most people don’t exactly look forward to wearing orthodontics. Today, the treatments are faster, easier and even fun.
Teens have long dreaded those high-school photos with a mouthful of brackets and wires. Invisalign Teen offers an alternative. Clear aligners are designed specifically for the individual. The trays are changed about every two weeks. Furthermore, teeth will start to move into their correct positions. Teens can remove them to brush, floss, eat and drink. Best of all – they are invisible, which means no teasing from their friends.
For adults, treatment options like Invisalign, clear and traditional braces are available. With a free consultation, your orthodontist can discuss which treatment option would be best for your smile. Thus, shorter treatment times and reduced discomfort are some of the perks of new options.
The myth about being ‘too old for braces’ is just that – a myth. If your bones and gums are healthy, braces are an option to correct TMJ, bad bites, and abnormal wear on your teeth caused by misalignment. People often don’t realize that their teeth affect their overall health. Frequent headaches, heart disease and more can start in your mouth.
Orthodontics can also help with self-esteem and self-confidence. So, don’t waste any more time with uncomfortable teeth. In conclusion, come and visit an orthodontic team like Gluck Orthodontics in Nashville, Tennessee to see what can be done for you. Your smile will certainly thank you for the consultation!
